Empowering the Next Generation

The apostles appointed seven men to care for neglected widows in Acts 6:1-7. These men were chosen by the community, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, and were prayed over and commissioned by the apostles. This ensured the widows were provided for and allowed the word of God to continue spreading and the number of believers to grow.
