The wayward journey of Jonah begins with a descent away from the presence of God. Nevertheless, God will not give up that easily. The Lord will chase Jonah, and he, too, will chase all of those whom he loves until they come to their senses. Our journey back to God resumes when we see the error of our way and return to the Lord in faith.
