How it all started...
Initially, Ubly Christian was a dream, inspired to plant a new church in the same village where he attended K-12th grade. The Holy Spirit convicted Austin Keller to return to his old stomping grounds and plant a church where ordinary people could encounter an extraordinary God.
The church would host its first Sunday service on January 28th, 2018, at Ubly Heights Golf and Country Club. From there, the church has faithfully served the Lord by preaching the Word, baptizing believers into Christ, and loving its local community.
Even though it hasn't been that long since our inception, we are determined more than ever to keep reaching out to the lost and strengthening the saved. We are excited to see how the Lord will continue working through Ubly Christian to further his kingdom.

Expanding the vision...
As our catchphrase goes, our vision is to place the fingerprint of Jesus on the thumb of Michigan. We believe this happens when we live in a community with other Christians and seek to live out God's greatest commandments. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Mt 22:37–39).
Where we are headed...
We are happy to announce that Ubly Christian has secured property on the corner of Jurgess and Atwater Rd. Now, we drive towards our following phase: paying off debt and eventually building a new church building.
In the meantime, the church will continue focusing on making new disciples for Christ and placing the fingerprint of Jesus on everyone we encounter. If you are without a church family, we would love to have you come and see what Ubly Christian is all about.
