Rich Toward God

In Luke, Jesus teaches about guarding oneself against the schemes of covetousness by illustrating with the parable of the rich, foolish man who was obsessed with wealth. Man's heart is full of desire for things which cannot last forever, so Jesus invites everyone to become rich in what matters - rich toward God.
