The Meal of Repentance

The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost. In Luke's gospel, he retells the story of when Jesus calls Zacchaeus, the tax collector, and insists that he dine in his home. The call to fellowship leads to Zacchaeus's genuine repentance; this is the true salvation the Lord gives. Likewise, God calls us to repent and experience his divine life, which is found in Jesus.
