Dining with the Ascended One

The final meal in Luke's gospel is the miraculous appearance of the resurrection king. Jesus has now commissioned his disciples to become witnesses for his kingdom and is sending them into the world. Every follower can embrace Jesus' words, "You are witnesses to these things," Now, we must choose to live representing Christ while he reigns from heaven - this is the church's mission.
